Primo's Tex-Mex Bar and Grille

Good food. Got their burrito. Was good but definitely rice overload. Have been there before and the enchiladas were good. Very good service. A bit noisy but most Mexican restaurants are. Not crowded and this was Sunday after church. Will go back again.

We had a big party and Primo's did a terrific job accommodating us. Amanda checked on us often and answered any questions we had. Our young grandudes loved watching the boats and birds from the patio!

We got lunch at the patio the view to the lake was AWESOME we really enjoyed the time we spent there. The food was warm, tasty, there margaritas are perfect and the waiter very nice.

The location was very nice and you could see the lake and there was outside seating. I ordered a he carne asada with the shrimp wrapped in bacon. The mushrooms were not cooked,the shrimp had a funny taste. Ordered the Pancho Villa appetizer and the cheese sauce taste like it came out of a can and the meat was the consistency of very fine minced,baby food. There was no taste to it.

The fajitas were excellent.

The food is very good. If you get guacamole they make it right there in front of you. They bring the fajitas out on the pan it was made on and they ate sizzling hot. Not the best salsa or chips.

$2 Margaritas were great! Had the spinach enchiladas and they were stuffed with way too much spinach but way tasty. Would've preferred a half sour cream sauce like the menu said but instead it was a drizzle. Overall, good chips and salsa and good service.

View was perfect, drinks were well made and the service was great. Food was decent

Always a great way to spend an afternoon looking at the water enjoying margaritas. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Great dishes: shrimp tacos and sour cream chicken enchiladas.

We were looking for a place with a patio and a view, Primo's Tex-Mex Grille fit the bill. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait for a table, but within 10 minutes we were seated. The view was amazing, overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard facing East with the sun setting behind some trees behind us, so we got the pretty water without being blinded. We ordered drinks, the bartender was attentive and the drinks were strong. Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed, but they were pretty busy. We got a large burrito that was covered in 3 different colored sauces(red, white, green). It was good, although I think it could use more meat. Overall, we had a good experience and the strong drinks and beautiful view make it a worthwhile place to visit and enjoy good company

Cade was exceptional. Service was second to none and the food was as good as I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was peaceful. Customer service was excellent. Everyone was very attentive to our needs

This place has pretty good tex mex. Things like fajitas, tacos, and burritos are pretty standard but they also have seafood tacos and "tamales". The wait staff are very friendly and attentive and my cup was never empty. They serve guacamole table side freshly squished and the bar is always stocked. Good food, good people, great atmosphere. Overall I would recommend a visit to this place if you've got the time and you're hungry.

I want to commend Primos at Bass Pro Drive for the outstanding service they extended my family at our baby shower for our granddaughter on Saturday. Omaro & Kylie iwere wonderful at the bar & thank you to Steve for giving us a fabulous deal serving our many guests. I can’t say enough about the way Steve eased my mind on so many things. I love the patio overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard, with long time friends getting together, as we have too busy to take the time, got out of touch... The drinks are fabulous.. & if course the food is Fab as well... It's one of my favorite places at the Lake... Just talking about how big our kids r now, sharing Grandbaby pictures, just catching u

We had a group of 10 people everybody's food came out as they ordered and hot, glasses were kept full. Friendly service left her a great tip. She worked for it.

Great atmosphere. Love sitting water-side on the patio, enjoying Tex-Mex and drinks watching the birds and boats. Inside is nice, too, if the weather is bad. Service was decent. The menu is relatively simple compared to some nearby Tex-Mex options, but it's a good spot for the basics.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience on this visit.. we decided to have dinner at the bar because it was open and convenient.. the young girl who brought the salsa spilled it on my partners shirt and all down the back of her sweater hanging on the bar stool.. I cleaned it up best I could with rag and soda water from bartender.. who in turn gave us some queso free of charge but the taste was off so we told her no thanks.. we both ordered the fajita taco salad for dinner and that was a huge disappointment.. the food was okay but the size of a dinner salad .. 3 stars only due to the bartenders personality and service.

Ate Tacos al Pastor which were a combo street taco plate. Very good with a squeeze of lime. Everyone in our party loved their food. Great service too.

Horrible experience There was a hair wrapped in my napkin with the silverware. Couldn’t eat my food. The mayo cup had food on it. Nasty restaurant.

Food wasn’t the best iv ever had but it was good. Service was really slow when I went but it was super packed. But the view of the lake is really cool on the back patio during the night

Had the B.E.T. sandwich, it was pretty delicious as I'm sure you can see with that beautiful, delicious cheese flowing over the egg, mmmmm. And the service was good too, the waitress was very friendly and attentive.

This place was horrible, salsa tasted like Pace picante, pintos were dry, shrimp had a horrible smell. Honestly, my money would have been better spent at taco bell.

Dinner and service were fine,but when you spend $200.00 for a party of four,a ROACH should not be included In your dinning dining experience.

We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I wish they would do a little work on the shade over the patio. One of my legs fried in the sun. Other than that we enjoyed it a lot.

Came here yesterday for happy hour and to sit on their great patio overlooking the water on a beautiful 70 degree day. Great happy hour prices on drinks and food! Had a wonderful time and cant wait to go again.

Food was kinda bland flavored but good service. Make sure you ASK to sit by the windows to get a good view of the lake or it’s not worth it.

It is a nice spot as you can see the lake, but the food is crap.. I ordered a margarita and the glass that they use was just not meant for such drink 🍸 .... the presentation of the food and drinks was horrible... Don’t waste your money there... The only good thing in the restaurant was the person I had dinner with.

the food was way under seasoned. I orded a shrimo plate and it came out with a bowl of scalding oil...just plain frying oil. Soapapillas were dry. My brother said the ice cream was amazing however.

Gross....Most restaurants when you ask for half & half tea.. if it isn't half unsweetened and half sweet most will tell you unless otherwise specified.No.. this is half sweet tea, half lemonade.Disgusting. Surprise, surprise when you take a drink.Food is so far off from even being edible, let alone even remotely enjoyable.This is by far the worst rice I've eaten. Idk how its prepared or what, about 10% of the rice is still uncooked.The service was unpleasant. Not sure how they manage tables. But it shouldn't take 2 waitresses and a waiter to refill your drinks or chips and take your order.I give 2 stars because the guacamole, chips and salsa were decent.. but hey, how can you mess that up??

Food is good. I got the fajitas. Not too bad. Could have used some more diverse beer selection though. I won't go out of my way to make it a destination but may stop by again if in the area.

I usually do not write reviews but felt this was necessary. We were greeted and seated quickly. Orders were taken quickly and food was delivered quickly as well. The chips were stale and bland. Salsa was not salsa, just some boring red sauce. I had the chicken fajita tacos. Meat was dry and tasteless and the flour tortillas it was served in were cold. No extra condiments like sour cream, pico de gallo, or cheese to add to the tacos. No one came to check on how the food tasted once delivered. The beans were also pretty tasteless and the rice tasted like some cheap instant stuff. We will not be back.

Love the view of the lake towards the back of the restaurant. Brunch was fairly good. My wife and I had the Chilaquilas which were okay. Her son was served the wrong breakfast sandwich but the server noticed this and brought him what he ordered. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place as a go to for Tex Mex but the atmosphere and views are worth it. They also have a good size patio that overlooks the lake.

The food and atmosphere were great! Right by the lake... I enjoyed it!

Incredible experience. It was too hot to sit outside on the patio, but got the next best seat - right by the glass facing the bay. I was able to enjoy the view and even watch a sailboat go by as I ate my Chicken Tampico - loaded with roasted veggies and Mexican corn. It was outstanding and I left feeling full.

We had our company party here and the customer service was great! The food was fabulous! They cleaned the tables regularly and checked on us frequently! The bartenders even came from out of the bar area and hand delivered beers. We will come back next year! Thanks!

Excellent Tex-Mex, especially for dinner. Brunch is only so-so. We really enjoy their lakefront deck; in early summer it's mostly in the shade during early evening hours and very pleasant. Highly recommend the Tacos Al Pastor if you like spicy food. If not, order them without the diced jalapeño.
